Review by hotel critic
If you're seeking an affordable yet cozy spot near Nuremberg, this hotel might catch your eye. I found the check-in process quite smooth, and I appreciated the spaciousness of my room, located in a separate building across the driveway. The experience was a mixed bag. The room was clean with a decent bed, but I quickly realized the lack of air conditioning made things uncomfortable. Opening the window was no remedy; the street noise paired with the cathedral bells chiming every half hour guaranteed a restless night. The restaurant offered a variety of typical German dishes with an English menu available, which was helpful for a history-loving Brit like me. Breakfast was satisfactory, with enough options to fuel a day of exploration. On the upside, free parking was a bonus, and the friendly receptionist accommodated my request to store bicycles in their secured garage. If you're willing to sacrifice a bit of sleep for savings, this hotel is a viable choice. Just keep your expectations in check regarding the room facilities, and you might find yourself pleasantly surprised by the value it brings.
